Si noti il preesistente basamento di pietra sul quale viene inserito il volume dell’abitazione aperto da una grande vetrata, con le parti in cemento armato a vista e le restanti superficie intonacate. / The Architect's House represented in the elevation. Il prospetto laterale consente di capire come l’edificio sia articolato su tre livelli: la strada pedonale, dalla quale si accede all’abitazione; il giardino con la passerella che consente di accedere al terrazzo superiore; la spiaggia, con la rimessa per una barca. / The side elevation allows to understand how the building is divided into three levels: the pedestrian street, with the main entrance to the house; the garden with the walkway that allows access to the upper terrace; the shore, with the boathouse.
La pianta dell’abitazione consiste in un unico grande spazio che riunisce le funzioni di soggiorno e pranzo, con la cucina allestita in un box aperto e la grande vetrata affacciata al lago. Due brevi rampe di scale conducono da una parte al bagno e dall’altra al livello della darsena. Pochi gradini scendono invece verso il piccolo giardino laterale dal quale una scala a chiocciola sale sul terrazzo. / The plan of the house consists of a large space that combines the functions of living and dining, with the kitchen set up in an open box and the large window overlooking the lake. Two short flights of stairs lead to the bathroom on one side and to the boathouse level on the other. A few steps instead lead down to the small side garden from which a spiral staircase leads up to the terrace.
La sezione principale della casa mostra come gli ambienti interni siano articolati su due livelli e come invece la terrazza superiore sia collegata al giardino da una passerella oltre che da una scala a chiocciola laterale. La sezione mostra anche come la casa sia per così dire ‘anfibia’, dal momento che la scansione in altezza dei suoi piani è stata calcolata sulla base del massimo livello che il lago può raggiungere. / The main section of the house shows how the internal volume is articulated on two levels and how the upper terrace is connected to the garden by a walkway as well as by a lateral spiral staircase. The section also shows how the house is, so to speak, 'amphibious', since the height of its floors was calculated on the basis of the maximum level that the lake can reach.
La pianta del livello ‘spiaggia’ mostra come la darsena, pensata per ospitare un Dinghy 12 ft, sia affiancata da un ambiente inizialmente pensato come warehouse, ma di tale suggestione da essere col tempo promosso a romantica camera da letto. / The plan of the 'shore' level shows how the boathouse, designed to accommodate a Dinghy 12 ft, is flanked by a space initially considered a warehouse, but of such charm that over time it was upgraded to a romantic bedroom.
